I was surprised when I received the email this morning, someone apparently nominated this blog for The Anime Blog Awards. I didn’t know that there was an awards like this going on, and when I took a look, this blog didn’t even fit the category it was nominated on, which is “Best Seiyuu Oriented Blog“.

Well… Yoko Kanno is officially a seiyuu for Genius Party Beyond…

Megumi Nakajima’s blog announced that Ranka Lee will have a debut CD single. (Also, If I’m reading the entries correctly, she mentions that she got advice from Yoko Kanno on how to pronounce the lyrics to a song, which I assume is “Aimo”.)

I can’t understand the first few lines of the song, better ask my Chinese friends. Apparently this song is entitled “超時空飯店　娘々” roughly translated to “Super-dimensional Chinese Restaurant Girl(?)”. It is composed and arranged by Yoko Kanno, sang by Lynn Minmeh (sic).

This information is found on the new Macross F Official website music page. Interesting how the singers’ names are written out. May’n is marked as “Sheryl starring May’n”, Minmeh doesn’t have the VA, and Megumi is marked “Ranka = Megumi”. (more…)
