You like? I like!!! My only gripe is that sometimes her voice goes shrill and I don’t like that, and she’s also pretty out of breath in some parts, but I guess it’s understandable since this song is hard to sing, and she’s probably also dancing like the one we see in the ED sequence.

Hokay, just for fun, who knows someone might guess right The idea comes from Macross World and the VF-25 naming game, and someone actually guessed “Messiah“!

There seems to be a pattern with the CD titles, first Nyan Fro., which stands for Nyan Frontier, then Nyan Tra, which could stand for Nyan Triangle (in Japanese spelling of course).

So, here are my guesses:

Nyan For (Fans Only) - song compilation
Nyan Ai(mo) - they sure have enough versions of this for one mini CD. Who knows there might even be a Bobby version
Nyan Nya(n) - (well what do you know)
Nyan Tori - well so many Kanno stuff are named after birds so why not

Heads-up: The Northern Cross leak is already going around.

The intro to the song is completely sold on me. It starts off with 3/4 meter and moves smoothly to 4/4. Don’t you just love counting the meter on shifting rhythm songs? The delivery of May’n here is unparalleled by any previous Macross F song. While it’s not as soulful as Diamond Crevasse, she does pull off a very emotional bridge, I actually hit rewind at that part o__O. I think however that the impact on this song is largely dependent on the lyrics, so my appreciation of the song might not be as good as someone who understands the lyrics while they’re being sang.

My favorite part of the song is the bridge, but since I don’t want to spoil the readers, I’ll just put the second verse and refrain as a sample:
