SMAP super.modern.artistic.performance Debuts at #1 in Oricon Weekly Charts
While not being a full Kanno release, I suppose it’s of note that one of the tracks is composed by Kanno, which is currently JVC’s second most played song on their website (which is dominated completely by SMAP). Number 2 isn’t such as bad spot as the current number 1 should win by default because once you visit the SMAP JVC page, it plays instantly:

Now I’m pretty sure that the marketing team of Macross F OST 2 sort of knew what they were doing… they’re just not going up against this pop band. But what is the OST 2 coming up against this week? Here’s to hoping for a rank 3 or higher, Nyan Tra!!!
