Sakamichi no Apollon Live Report
As reported by musicman-net.com, Kanno doesn’t seem to have appeared, but other important staff like Yuki Kodama, Shinichiro Watanabe, and the main characters’ voice artists, came to the concert. Mao Sone came up as guest, playing the trumpet and vocals (maybe for “But Not For Me”?) beside the main players, Takashi Matsunaga as Kaoru on Piano, and Jun Ishikawa as Sentarou on drums.
The songs performed were primarily from the animation, starting from the drum solo of Sentarou, and the encore is a jazz arrangement of “Sakamichi no Melody”. They also played the medley and the ending version of Moanin’, much to the delight of the audience.
