UPDATE (October 16, 2012): Listen to a sample of Nekoze at Victor.
UPDATE (October 15, 2012): Jacket design added.
Maaya Sakamoto will release her third single collection, entitled “Mitsubachi”. Those familiar with the Japanese language will notice the play of words to mark this as the ordinal third (Mitsu), while the first and second single colletions were Hachi-pachi, and Niko-pachi respectively.
It has been nine years since Nikopachi came out. At that time, Maaya was still under the wing of Kanno, so all of the songs were composed by her. But even though now that that isn’t the case, three songs from Kanno are still included, namely “Triangler” and “More Than Words”, and a brand new song, “Nekoze” (not sure if it’s Nekoze or Neko Se, the first meening, “Stoop”, the latter being “Cat’s Back”. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the animal one).
The first press release will include a collection of music videos, in which “Triangler” and “More Than Words” are included.

Himitsu, SONIC BOOM should be there. Spica, Praline and Private Sky were B-sides on singles. Kind of disappointed at the tracklist.

A preview of Nekoze is available here :

It sounds quite classic and her voice is so high, don’t know if it will remain in my playlist. Anyway, I’m looking forward to hear the full version.

I didn’t care much for it in preview but there’s no mistake about it – Nekoze is typical, lovely Kanno ballad
