For those who have listened to the Gift of SMAP album, you’ll recognize a surprisingly familiar voice on the “Theme of gift -prologue-” track. One that would make you wonder if you’re listening to the right album. I’m still scouring for vocal credits on this, but it seems very Gabriela, singing an English version of the song “gift”… on a SMAP album!

Here’s what I hear, any other ideas?:

You turn around back with a big smile on
Just livened up myself on be(ing) with you
Gifted, gifted, as aware this isn’t as you are

The rest of the prologue has no other vocals other than this, and rather sticks out by being a very edgy orchestrated piece. The epilogue is more toned down, and devoid of lyrics.

For those interested on how maybe the prologue and epilogue tracks are used in the SMAP concerts, you may try watching this video, at about 1:35 minutes in. This is a compilation of song previews, but it doesn’t include the snippet of the prologue with the vocals.
