A live performance of the songs featured in the recently-concluded TV adaptation Sakamichi no Apollon will be held on August 27, 2012, at Motion Blue, Yokohama. The performers are mentioned to be Takashi Matsunaga, Jun Ishikawa, and others.
I suppose Kanno is out or else they would have put her name on the bill, or maybe they hid hers to focus on the two main performers. As a non-resident of Japan, I can only hope for videos or photos of the event, but I’m really looking forward to anything we can get. I’m just glad Kanno gets to do animations that warrant live performances!
