I’ll definitely be getting this one since it looks like it’s going to be an updated version of her “Lost in Time” album.
May 10th, 2012 at 3:40 pm
Sheesh, this is turning into Macross F music release nightmare.

You know what they say, strike while the iron is hot

Well, it doesn’t surprise me. They are pushing her old songs a lot in the series, after all. And I suppose there must be one or two new songs yet to appear in the show.
But BGMs too? Colour me surprised here O_o (not that I’d mind, of course.)

Alright, we have a catalog number now.

Some Sazanka Bianca song?
May 13th, 2012 at 6:04 am
I don’t think so, this one will only be AKINO singing…
May 13th, 2012 at 9:51 am
Not surprised. They used almost all (no 15sai Nike yet) of Aquarion’s songs in Aquarion EVOL, but since those songs are probably hard to find or out of print they are re-releasing them. It is for the people that don’t want to buy the entire OST, for just the vocals.

There is a new song in the last episode, I guess it will be included in this album.

New song “Zero” played in the final episode of Aquarion EVOL. Can’t hear it very well though because it is played in a battle scene. Plus there was a new piano/orchestra piece played of Genesis of Aquarion that was nice. Also a another piano piece. I assume all three will be in this album.

Looking at those titles, it seems those 5 BGMs were the ones featured in the last episode. I’m also curious about those bonus CDs. The first one comes out in a few days. Let’s see what it has to offer.
June 27th, 2012 at 1:01 am
The bonus disc for this month isn’t Kanno.
June 27th, 2012 at 3:33 am
True but still it will be interesting to know which musics are not Kanno’s and maybe we’ll have some good surprises among the other compositor’s pieces of musics! At least it will be a full album of BGMs!

I think “Genesis of Love” is the really pretty piano BGM mix of “Sousei no Aquarion” that played toward the beginning of episode 26. I can’t wait!

Since it’s the last track, I’d expect Genesis of LOVE to be an instrumental arrangement of Aquaria Mau Sora.

I hope it’ll be an orchestral version, but considering the track length…

The Aquaria one must be an arrangement… which means Kanno is tangentially involved?
July 4th, 2012 at 5:52 pm
I wondered the same.
I guess she composed the music and Ayako Otsuka arranged it.
July 5th, 2012 at 9:46 am
This makes me wonder if there’s more than one track that Kanno composed and Otsuka arranged…
Hopefully someone will take a pic of the booklet credits.

Already out
Still listening to it, but “Unforgettable” is that orchestral version of Celiane everyone was waiting for. And there is a secret track!
July 25th, 2012 at 7:12 am
Which songs are new songs?
July 25th, 2012 at 8:37 pm
Triple bump today! (Aquarion Evol O.S.T. 2, Sakamichi no Apollon O.S.T. 2, More than Words, and we could almost count the Aquarion soundtrack album in the third DVD box)
‘a tot’ is a great orchestral music, it’s a very pleasant surprise!
‘Unforgettable’ is THE orchestral version of Celiane (I think it is the only music from the first Aquarion serie)
Track 12 is a short chorus in the same style as Macross F SMS Shoutai song. I don’t remember hearing it in the anime though.
Track 11 and track 16 are synth keyboard medleys of Zero, Sousei no Aquarion and Kimi no Shinwa. But I was surprised because at the end of the track 16 there is a short piano (a real one) melody I’ve never heard before and it doesn’t sound like a music from the Aquarion universe at all so that is a little strange.
Zero is a good song, the refrain is maybe too cheerful but there are really good parts. I really like the triple echo effect especially the second time with “Demo yume wo mite” with the string slowing going down four times in a row.
Genesis of LOVE is a very different version of Sousei no Aquarion. To be honest, I liked it when the first instruments began but it doesn’t sound link Aquarion either, and it’s too slow so I got bored…
Finally, there is a hidden orchestral track, this is the Aquarion EVOL version of Souseiki #2 (the very first orchestral music played at the beginning of the first episode in the first serie).
In a nutshell there are some very interesting tracks and well, at least there are BGMs which is not a bad thing at all!

I meant track *14* and 16 (are synth keyboard medlays [...]). Track 11 is “Unforgettable”
