Center for Performers’ Rights Administration Interview

The CPRA (Center for Performers’ Rights Administration) has an interview with Kanno about her career and background. Yyrkoon has told me he would translate for everyone :) He pointed out to me this interesting tidbit:

―― ところで、作詞やボーカルのときは、Gabriela Robinという名前を使われていますが…。
初めてオーケストラの録音をさせていただいたのがイスラエルだったんですけど、その時イスラエルの首相がラビン首相だったという、それだけのことなんですが(笑)。

When asked about using “Gabriela Robin” in writing lyrics or doing vocal work, interestingly, she doesn’t do her usual denial spiel. Instead, she essentially says that her first orchestral recording was in Israel (for Macross Plus) and during that time, the Prime Minister of Israel was Yitzhak Rabin. So I think she’s hinting that Rabin became the inspiration to the name of Robin :)

I wonder if that’s her office or something Michael Jackson’s HIStory is in the background which is really cool. I wish I could interview her I’d have so many questions to ask her LOL!
