Kyoko Endou x Youko Kanno: Pure Mode Live Vol.30
As part of Kyoko Endou’s 30th anniversary since she debuted as a singer, she will perform on November 20, 2011 at Minami Aoyama Mandala with Kanno. Kyoko is herself a song writer, so it’s not surprising that Kanno’s involvement with her is just for arrangements, but they’ve done quite a bit of work together!

Since Kanno did not compose her songs, I didn’t get into much of their collaborations, but here’s a song from an animation that I’ve heard of which she arranged – Hashire Hashire from Earth Defense Dai Guard:

I think the guitarist that was mentioned, Masayoshi Furukawa, is also one of Kanno’s vocalists. I know he sung “You Make Me Cool” from Cowboy Bebop and “Perfect World” from Escaflowne. Maybe he’ll sing a song as well?

Maybe he’ll do backup… or then again maybe it’s Kanno who will. I have to admit I’m not a big fan of his voice :p
