Lion Single Debuts in Oricon at #3
The Oricon Daily Singles figures are looking good, as the single has sold 11,715 copies on its first day. It easily beats the 5,036 units sold in the first day of Diamond Crevasse. This is even more than OST 1 sold on its first day *__*
Good luck to this single, possibly the fourth Macross CD to reach #3 in the weeklies or higher!

Lion itself is an excellent song…not so much into Northern Cross though. I’m glad the single is doing well.

Looks like May’n will end up with the two highest selling cd singles of Frontier, I would’ve thought that Maaya Sakamoto would’ve ended with the highest selling single tbh, considering her existing fanbase + Macross brandname.

Somehow I just knew that this CD would be in the top ten. I’m happy it make it to number three. I’m also happy that Arashi’s Truth is number one ^^

By the way, Lion’s sales already is:

It’ll definitely smash other Macross singles first week totals.

I’m not sure if it will beat Porno Graffitti on the weekly rankings though, if you see, PG was #2 for 3 days when Lion was #3. But then now PG slipped to #5… I wonder if the difference is substantial enough to push Lion to #2 in the weeklies. Make or break guys, we have only a few hours more to find this out.
