This is really really nice

Well then.
A few days ago, I wrote about my formidable enemy, the “lifter”. o(゜д゜;;;)o(;;;゜д゜;;;)o(;;;゜д゜)o
[The lifter is the part of the stage that rises from the floor to elevate a singer]
I have a fear of heights.
By this time, I have been on the lifter twice ( i _ i ) and I seriously don’t like it.Honestly, isn’t one level
enough to be above everyone else?If it gets more than that, I get scared…
Of course, each time
Ms. Kanno would tell me, “Do your best~”( i _ i )w
During the rehearsals, and I was raised for the first time
I could hardly stand
so I sat down ( i _ i )Even I felt miserable and impatient.
The lifter would go up on
Iteza’s and Lion’s outro.Even though I want to be at the best spot…
Then Ms. Kanno told me,
Okay, let’s practice. And she rode on the lifter with me day after day, and each time, the lifter would go higher up.
I told her, “My knees are shaking, I’m scared ( i _ i )”
and she told me that being scared is natural.I thought I have to be patient, so every time the lifter went up, as I thought that being scared is natural, I slowly became at ease.
She would go on the lifter with me everyday for a handful of minutes.
Even on the general practice on the performance day, we went on it together. Then before I knew it,
I couldn’t feel the height much, and I was able to go up with the lifter with a smile.I was personally surprised.
Certainly, it wasn’t 0% scared, maybe about 15%.At the start it was 200%.
Then before the performance…
I always went up with Ms. Kanno,
but now I went up alone. And then,
I can feel the entire place. When I ran up to Ms. Kanno, she hugged me and said, “You did very well!” ( i _ i )
Ms. Kanno supported me not just in singing and on the stage, but even on emotional difficulties.
During Tenshi ni Nacchatta, I stayed close to her piano while she played and I sang.
In the special encore in Kobe, she told me to sing facing her while we performed Diamond Crevasse.
I met Macross.
I met Ms. Kanno.
As far as “May’n” or just “me” is concerned, everyday spent was immensely valuable. When I sang Diamond Crevasse and I looked at Ms. Kanno,
somehow I felt various emotions well up in me.I am really glad I met you.
Ms. Kanno, thank you very much!
Sweet girl

Ah, I’m a tad disappointed, Megumi didn’t mention Kanno anywhere in her blog for the Christmas live, and in retrospect, she hardly did write about her… She did mention that she got mail (which in Japan could mean SMS) from her parents greeting her Merry Christmas, who might not have been with her since she was in Kobe for the concert. I always find it touching to hear about people communicating even if they are not together

Last one before I sleep – this post feels goodbye-ish, doesn’t it? I wonder if they would really finalize the triangle, then avoid a concert at the end?

I believe that Megumi does not mention Yoko-sama, as it is perceived that Kanno does not support to Megumi as much as it does with May’n…

Yes it does. Was it really the last Macross F concert?

@Love – well actually, Megumi hardly talks about any of her work in her blog, unlike May’n (though I wish she did). I suppose May’n is the cutesy, talkative type who likes to write a lot with smileys, while Megumi is more mature, concise and secretive.
The appearance that she isn’t supported much is only heightened by the fact that she doesn’t write at all about Kanno, while this is contrary to how May’n does it, even writing about their misadventures.

“I suppose May’n is the cutesy, talkative type who likes to write a lot with smileys, while Megumi is more mature, concise and secretive.”
Pretty funny it should go this way around, remembering their roles…
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if May’n is closer with Kanno than Megumi – even the personalities of the two seem to match to surprisingly large extent. Under the business-as-usual idol chirpyness that is modus operandi of the industry Nakajima gives off more introverted aura. Of course I might be completely wrong about this.
Then again, Megumi *seems* to be closer with Kawamori and rest of the cast, naturally enough.
Oh well. Speculating about stuff like backstage relationships based largerly on content’s of official blogs – which *are* highly controlled publication/marketing methods for idols, despite how it might seem (they won’t be posting stuff of their boyfriends or stuff like that even if it’s their “personal blog”) – is very uncertain and risque at best.
Reliable science it ain’t.

Well I’m not really interested on who’s close with who, but I do notice the personality similarity between May’n and Kanno, though it’s really difficult to judge since Megumi hardly writes about her work. Kanno herself is a pretty private person hence no official site or blog, or twitter, or anything! And this is the reason I appreciate it when the people she works with write anything about her or even just the songwriting or recording process.

Holy s#!+. I just went to Megumi’s blog and saw that she wrote about cosmic cuune, specifically about my favorite song, “songbird”! How come no one pointed this out to me?!?!?!?! Gaaaaaaah!!! *nerd rage*
I’ll translate maybe later. As I said, Megumi’s style of writing is more mature, and hence it’s more difficult for me to translate:

Heh…funny. When I was at the show, and the lifter, um, lifted, I was thinking, “Damn, I’d be a little scared to be on that thing.” Glad to know I’m not alone.
