It will probably be the weekend before I have time to get a review up.
The concert was VERY well produced. It really felt like something special. And there were plenty of video cams and footage. Since flying dog is releasing the mayn concert I can’t see them not releasing this.
We finally got a definitive live version of kiseki no umi!
And EVERYWHERE live was damn amazing. Then there was maaya on guitar for Get no satisfaction…. Oh there was a birthday cake too!
Kanno turned up for a medley with Maaya – everyone was super excited! She also came back at the end with a harpsicord (accordian?) for pocket wo naka ni shite.
Lighting, setup – was almost more professional than Tanabata Sonic (which while better overall imo was also more experimental).
Anyways, a proper review will be forthcoming in the next few days.

I heard there are a lot of cameras. I won’t deny it – I probably won’t buy this if it becomes a DVD in a heartbeat because of budget issues. I have different priorities right now. Though I wouldn’t mind selling my Macross F Live in Budokan if I really want to get this.

orz I’m feeling a little depressed. Or is it nostalgia? I have been listening to a lot of mid to late-1990′s Maaya recently.

pamphlet photos?
I haven’t taken a good look at the pic above, but if I’m correct, it’s discussing who produced the live… or who produced a certain song? And it is credited to “hog”. Who Maaya says in reality is Kanno. I will take a better look later.

I had an inkling Kanno would show up. She’s a big part of Maaya’s career and Maaya’s spoken about her in quite a few of her interviews lately. And after Tanasonic last year I’d have been upset if she did haha. But it’s lovely! I’m so happy for Maaya hitting such a big landmark.
The setlist looks great, a good mix of Kanno and non-Kanno songs. There better be a DVD damn it!

Oh definitely there’s gonna be a DVD since Maaya did mention it when she went to take a sip of water and this one guy screamed OISHII and she replied FUTSUU, haha.
And yes, it was a great live. Maaya on guitar was pretty hilarious though.

I forgot to mention the concert ‘pamphlet.’ Its 150 pages long! Has pics of all Maayas singles and album covers, a long interview, list of live performances and even a photo shoot of Maaya by Kanno thats ..well… in Maayas own words, ‘semi-nude.’
Its probably the definitive publication of all things Maaya. Eves the ads (Eva 2.22 and FF13) are all Maaya! hahaha.

semi-nude? haha, so that’s why some people were all “KannoxMaaya forever lolz” in the internet

I’ll bang a brief write up and get it out tomorrow, if you can piece it together with everyone else it should be a good collection of different points of views.
30minutes live finally, and yes I did have a fangasm.
