An interesting thing to note regarding Kanno’s relative popularity – this news came from Music Market, and they put Kanno’s name as composer beside VOICES when they didn’t put the composers for the other songs. This is the same impression I got from the Natalie.mu report of Natsumi Kiyoura’s new CD, where the headline had Kanno’s name on it, and she did just one song.

Thanks for the tip Sec! However I have personally been avoiding posting cover songs of only popular Kanno songs (Seikan Hikou, Aquarion…) because I think the artists just want to ride on the popularity of the songs, and didn’t think much about it. This is the same for the tons of covers of Aquarion and Seikan Hikou out there that are in conjunction with numerous other anime covers. Anyway, thanks for this, it’s reassuring that even if Kanno appears to be on a hiatus this year, artists still remember her works
