May’n’s Blog, and the Little Devil
May’n made an interesting post with a rundown of the songs in Universal Bunny and Styles. Of course she mentioned Kanno in the Universal Bunny comments, and I’ll just post a few that I thought was interesting:
*Universal Bunny - May’n thought that for the white bunny, she would just sing cutely, but Kanno told her to sing like a little devil. “Sing as a little devil! Not just simply cute, sing like a little devil that men can’t let go off!” So she said they recorded and all the while Kanno was teaching her how to do this “little devil” (haha).
*Gira Gira Summer - The smiley on the title on this song was indeed her idea, which she wrote about in a previous blog post.
*Izorado - Kanno called this one “Yankee Sheryl” style.
*Aenai Toki - In the booklet you will see that this song was written by Sheryl for an ex-boyfriend, but since she wanted to put out real emotions for the song, she was only thinking of Alto when she sang this. (I haven’t gotten to look at the booklet myself, not even the lyrics, so I can’t verify these).
*She says that Kanno always gives her a challenge during recording, but she enjoys it, and “Because it’s with Ms. Kanno, anything is possible”.

Thank you so much for this translation funny and interesting ! It helps me to understand why I adore very much Sheryl Nome’s songs and just like May’n’s ^.^

LOL, that’s not nice for May’n. We all know Gabriela Robin will never grow up anymore, but May’n just became a grown-up ^^

Speaking of May’n, the “document” that comes with Budokan is absolutely hilarious and lovable.
Mamegu and May’n are just sooo sweet in there (as is Kanno whenever she comes up) ^___^
really makes you wonder wtf is up with the fans pointlessly arguing all the time. Sheryl and Ranka are great friends, same holds for their IRL counterparts but fantards…wtf is wrong with us? We should follow example of the original ones =/

I really like how fantastically “in-character” Universal Bunny is. I don’t listen to May’n singing, I’m listening to Sheryl. This kind of booklet things just strenghten the notion
