New Macross F Movie Trailer: Universal Bunny Song
UPDATE: The other trailer has surfaced in the Macross F website. Click the violet link. It has a longer version of Universal Bunny. For those curious, I have translated the words said here at Animesuki, if you’re interested.

From this trailer, we see that the song being played is “Universal Bunny”, but I bet you guys can’t hear a thing

This has to be Ranka’s stint as a mecha promo girl.
Sheryl has a dance!!! In this picture, she’s wearing the White Rabbit* costume.
And for some reason, the upper right corner mentions Pink Monsoon, though the song is not played at all.
*Animage November 2009 clarified that “Black Rabbit and White Rabbit” is referring to Sheryl’s movie costume.

When I hear “White Rabbit” I always think of that Jefferson Airplane song.
It looks good but it depends on the storyline, a re-telling wont be quite as interesting.

Actually you can hear Pink Monsoon in the trailer.
It’s just that there’s so much background noise it’s hard to hear. There’s probably another TV playing nearby.

@Yy - I just visited the Macross F official site, they said it would be available tomorrow. But then, I think foreign IP’s will be blocked yet again. Someone must rip it and share!

The movie looks very cool, I also hope someone can upload it with better quality. I think this film will focus more on the history of Sheriru, and also can appreciate a scene like Hikaru-Minmay, and Ranka-Alto (when they take in the sky) 1:08 and 2:02, I think this production is 80 % x Sheryl :)!!!!

i bet this will be the first song that’s played in the movie. and i’m guessing there’s going to be a viral dance that goes along with this.
pink monsoon sounds groovier, but i like the party vibes this one gives off just as much

“Sheryl, a spy?!” –> looks like they thought that Sheryl is a spy for Grace because she is Sheryl’s manager. I’m guessing the people of frontier might hate sheryl upon knowing this. hmm.

Sheryl’s cloaked face/concert videos remind me of Ayumi Hamasaki’s concert openings. Particularly arena 2005. It’s interesting because it’s always been the juxtaposition of super songstress vs. sweet idol in Macross F (Ayu vs. Morning Musume?). It’s weird thinking that Sheryl’s music/image/concerts are probably what pop will look like in 50 years. It looks a hell of a lot like that now!

Is the first music of the new vid Universal Bunny? I don’t think it has the same rhythm than the song at the 2nd part of the video…
