1 This sounds like a viral. Gira Gira means “Dazzle”, and that smiley is not helping remove the image of Seikan Hikou. This is also reminiscent of May’n’s blog entries where she sprinkles her posts with a good serving of smileys in this fashion. Also, depending on whether that dash (ー) is part of the text, it either seems to be the honorific “sama”, or “summer”. Just to be safe, I’ll leave this open.
2 The Izorado seem to be a Brazilian tribe who have not met with the outside world. Macross Zero anyone? Also, “Izolado” is “isolation” in Esperanto (thanks to Sec for the info!).
3 De ja vu…
As a side comment, remember this Macross F trailer? Let’s take the a screenshot of the text in question:
The text reads “Black and White Rabbit”. Now I’m not sure if the title of the mini album and the trailer are related, but I think it is, and the meaning should be revealed in the movie.

^I have a strong hunch that Tenshi ni Narichatta in this album would be a shorter version though. But! If you’re really after that cute cd cover, then you should buy this album, and make sure you get the first press, because the bonus is a postcard with that same art.

I think サマー is “summer” so “Giragira Summer” is Sparkling summer and I searched イゾラド, so far I think is “Izolado” which means “isolation” in Esperanto.

Since every track is performed by Sheryl, that means another album will be released with “Sou da yo” from Megumi. It’s strange that it has not been announced yet because that was the first Macross F Movie song we first heard.

It’s great that this mini album is only featuring Sheryl songs, I was thinking about ordering it after release but I think that I will wait and see what other CD’s there will be released. I don’t paying twice for the same content

@Yy - a lot of people have been thinking that this movie is more Sheryl-focused, and the second movie will be Ranka-focused (hence a Ranka album will be released then). The title of this movie certainly refers to Sheryl. There are also many cute Sheryl costumes, clips on the trailer, etc. The bits of news that the fandom gets about the movie are also mostly about plot lines Sheryl is involved in. Surely they’ll balance it out in the second movie, along with many new Ranka songs.

So going by this Sheryl will have 8 new songs. Gira Gira Sama also reminds me of Seikan Hikou, most probably it’s going to feature some dance. I’m looking forward to Izorado, Aenai Toki and Eien, since they seem to be sad songs or something like that.
For Ranka there are for now two songs confirmed, Sou Da Yo and the CM one, but maybe she will get two more. One for the Miss Macross concert and her own cover of one of Sheryl’s songs to sing at Formo. If they decide to keep those scenes, although I’m pretty positive they’ve kept the Formo one.

@Yy - the news recently says that the 1st movie will have a lot of new stuff apart from initially building from the tv series, and the second movie will be completely new, with no traces of the tv series. I hope they are two independent stories because I don’t want to be waiting for the 2nd one for a long time.

I have a hunch that the cute little dance will be for Universal Bunny because of the costume. That song is danceable too, I think. But I think they SHOULD make a dance for Pink Monsoon.
