m.o.v.e Covers Sousei no Aquarion

Thanks for Len for the news!

I almost promised myself not to make any more posts about covers (especially of Aquarion), but this one is a bit more interesting :) The duo m.o.v.e created an all-anime covers album entitled “anim.o.v.e 01″ which included a cover of Sousei no Aquarion, Ai Oboete Imasu Ka, Tamashi no Rufuran, and others.

I think it’s pretty good if not for the rap :P

    I don’t really know if I like this version or not, all I know nothing tops Masaaki Endo’s version at the moment, well with the exception of Akino Arai’s original…but I think I like Endo’s version way more anyway.

    I agree that this would have been way better without the rap.

    @PC – not Maaya’s XD Not sure which animation it comes from though…

    @KS_Ruel – Actually, that was AKINO, not Akino Arai XD Arai has a very smooth soothing voice, AKINO has a harsh full one.

    Now that you mention it, yeah, my bad. I don’t really know much about AKINO anyway (the only songs I know are the sousei ones), Arai I’m somewhat familiar with but probably not as much as Sakamoto Maaya (>.<).

    The rap…. was really annoying. Especially when it’s interspersed with the verses and choruses, utterly unneeded. Spoilt the song.
