May’n Done for Macross F Movie Recording
Just a short bit of news, May’n mentioned in her blog yesterday that her recording for the Macross F movie is already done. Also take note of the good reception of the news of the release of Pink Monsoon in the comments in her blog. The fans are thrilled that she has announced this news, and that it will be released on her birthday. Though I’m wondering why she described Pink Monsoon as R&B… Is that R&B? It doesn’t sound… bluesy to me 
And a minor rant - Megumi Nakajima’s blog has no search bar.

For people who are specific with website content accessibility, they might even bash a site that doesn’t have a search function. I did try to use the Google index of her website, but I didn’t find anything Macross music related that is recent. Then again, the Google index doesn’t seem to be sortable by date, and it’s mostly returning user comments instead of Megumi’s posts :\

Well, I can relate there (especially with favorite doujinka blogs) XD
And the fans are really thrilled and so am I. …But I can’t help but think Pink Monsoon is a Sharon Apple hypnotizing music, where we will become slaves of Sheriru…(Oh wait, I already am one XD)

I wonder if there was another new song that May’n has previously referred as ‘terrific godly music’ and ‘Violent, Heart-rending, Painful’ in one of her blog entry that you’ve recently translated
Maybe they want to keep it as a surprise because from the description the song might live up to be Sheryl’s DC/NC’s replacement XD

Ah, it’s so long before we hear anything official from the movie. Sheryl’s single is still more than a month away and I’m already dying to hear Pink Monsoon in HD glory. And Tenshi ni Narichatta too… I suppose there should be more songs than the one in the single…

To me Pink Monsoon is too Britney like. I prefer May’N to sing something like Northern Cross or Diamond Crevasse which truly showcase her powerful vocal.

@riepert - that’s right, though I think I also initially made a typo with Narichatta because the root word is “Naru” and I was overthinking it. It’s Nacchatta / Natchatta.
