Iijima, Nakajima, May’n and Fire Bomber for Macross Anniversary Single

A CD entitled “Superdimensional Macross, Macross First Year Commemoration Single ‘Iki o Shiteru, Kanjiteiru (trans: Breathing, Feeling)’ (title subject to change) will be released, featuring Mari Iijima, Fire Bomber, May’n, and Megumi Nakajima. The CD single will be released a few days before the Macross Crossover Concert. The CD is produced by Mari Iijima, and it has been said that the music is also written by her.

I was hearing the Macross radio show yesterday and the president of Flying Dog who is the music director for Macross too was talking about this concert. He said that Yoko Kanno won’t be appearing because she will be busy with the music for the movie at that time. Maybe she will be appearing as a secret guest but don’t expect her to take charge of the concert. What I’m not sure, I need to hear it once again, it seems that Ijima Mari did write a new song for this concert.

I think they talked about this because she was the one who produced the Macross F concerts, so there are expectations that she would handle this one. The fact that she’s busy for music for the movie is good news 
And Iijima not just performing on the concert, but having written a new song for the franchise? Yeah!

Another piece of info… Fire Bomber is reuniting to record a NEW album with ALL NEW songs. They want to release it before the crossover concert.
I heard it from the Flying Dog president in the Macross radio show.

Estoy muy ansiosa por ver con que salen ahora, creo de seguro viene el cover de may’n de totsugeki love heart y la versión de voices de Megumi, UUU!!! que otras sorpresas vendran de Mari-sama y Fukuyama-sama, sin olvidar a Chie o es Tomo quién sale cómo la voz de mylene en este CD?, todavia existe posibilidad de que hayan canciones nuevas, si Mari las compuso
