Macross F Unreleased Tracks Part 1

This week there was no new episode to dig music from *boo*, so let’s just entertain ourselves with old unreleased stuff. These three are three select songs that I thought would have made it to the OST 1, but they didn’t. They were very notable songs played on the first few episodes of the animation, and ironically, we get an OST 1 with music we haven’t even heard of before. Perhaps they couldn’t fit in too many background music because space had to be given to the vocal music.

Well this week we have an episode, but if it airs a song that we all know, I’ll make another set of these unreleased stuff. Next week we won’t have an episode again, but there’s a Ranka’s debut single to busy ourselves with :)

    Yes, :( . Too bad they didn’t make it to the soundtrack. I was expecting them to make it, especially the Opening Theme.

    There should be an OST 2 (and 3), of course! I’m buying. And I’ll probably make a call for everyone to support it in its first week, or preorder it, so that we could get it perhaps to at least Oricon Weekly #2 :P

    What about that song during Sheryl’s sound test in episode 6? Such a nice beat imo. lol hope its a full song, not just a sound test for her concert.

    About that track, I do remember it… I already posted about it because I also love it a lot, but I suppose it’s not one of the most important tracks of the animation, so I’ll reserve that for an Unreleased Part 2 :P These ones were selected because they were played tonnes of times and I thought they’d be in OST 1. But I’m willing to bet they’d be in the other OSTs.

    Btw, for those who haven’t seen the All That VF promotional CM, it uses that episode 6 track. I suppose that made the bgm important enough to be in one of the OSTs:
