Macross F OST I is the #3 album for the week and the first anime soundtrack in nearly 11 years to place that high (last one was the OST for 'The End of Evangelion'). Overall sales for the week was 71,633. It actually moved up to No.2 today, though Monday sales are usually very light. When it has to compete with new releases tomorrow we'll get a better idea of just how much staying power it has. My guess is that it will do about half of it's first week sales (around 30~35k) which will make it gold certified in two weeks. Major kudos to Kanno, Maaya, Megumi & May'n & the whole Macross F staff! It’s official.
