7/7 Concert Homestretch Miscellaneous Stuff

UPDATE: Thanks to Yyrkoon for notifying me, the news page has more info about the brochure to be sold in the concert. Details below. Something tells me the Gundam fans will collectively laugh at the contents of that brochure.

That’s one of the goods previously reported here (which I mistranslated because I didn’t know the context, sorry :P ). Apparently there’s a save hiyoko theme going on, judging from the bag with the text on it saying, “Save the Hiyoko”. It also has what appears to be a towel which I think is what the audience is expected to wave around at the concert. Then there’s the yellow rubber ducky which I expect to be used for the same purpose, this time to make a certain kind of noise…

And then following the same theme is the Report section of the Seatbelts website, with the little chick reporting what she sees to the commander. The last image made me laugh. “This is… It can’t be…”

Oh yes, we eat you for breakfast.

The contents of the brochure to be sold in the 7/7 concert is said to be roughly as follows:

- Commanding officer, Seatbelts members embarrassing stories
- Profile of all members, photos inside the space ship
- Kanno Yoko’s disturbed associate, clearly Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, makes a one-page monologue

brb, laughing

*ahem*

- A Warsaw Philharmonic lecture
- An original sticker
- The articles are BILINGUAL
- Commanding officer Q&A
- A Gabriela Robin solo interview (!!!)
- Comes furnished with a CD

I’ll be there! I’m leaving for the concert in just under three hours. If anyone sees an American girl in a light green t-shirt, blue shorts, and a black Wolf’s Rain bag, please come and say hello!

    Ahhh, I’m so excited!

I wouldn’t suppose anyone knows if cameras are allowed? I’m assuming not, but I certainly wish I could take a few snapshots for the memories.

Photos and videos are a big no-no at Japanese concerts, be they domestic or overseas. Expect the gate staff to ask you if you’re possession of one. Also, surrounding attendees may ask you to stop as well.

  10. PacificPikachu Says:

Ah, that’s what I figured, but I thought it was worth asking. Quite a few of the Japanese bands and singers I’ve seen (at US conventions and US venues) didn’t mind photography one bit, so I wouldn’t help but hope! I definitely don’t want to risk being kicked out at my dream concert, though, so the camera will have to stay here. Thanks for the information!

I know it’s off topic, but did Kanno study at the Parisian Conservatory of Music and Dance?

  12. Yyrkoon Says:

    Parisian means in Paris ?

If yes then she didn’t, she studied in Japan.
