Well I guess they didn’t wanna seem uncool by liking an anime song or whatever - I mean, anime’s kinda geeky in Japan once you’ve entered high school, right? xD;; There’s no need for the host to be so condescending though…

Ah well, the live was very good! That chorus was wonderful.

Yeah, this live performance was great!
I usually like a singer more when i see them sing a song live and you can feel they really mean it. Usually when people sing music written by somebody else, I feel its not as powerful and genuine as it would’ve been had they written it themselves.
But May’n sang it so powerfully that I forgot for a second that it was a Kanno song. It’s little things like the anguish in her voice when she sings ‘tomerarenai’ in the bridge. I especially love the melancholic but gentle way she ends with ‘planet’… very sweet.

As for the host, I think japanese music programs on tv are kinda like that. I watched a lot of music station and those two hosts are always being rude… in a funny way, even to big stars. I think its some kinda japanese masochistic humor.

@zagunsousan: Agreed, May’n’s emotions really shined.

I dunno, Tamori never seemed to be rude to me… lol :P
