Macross F: Interstellar Flight Song Preview Video
Pop again… I kinda miss the old Macross Plus/Arjuna/GITS:SAC vocal songs. I didn’t know Kanno would make so much pop songs for Macross Frontier. Aimo was kind of a relief.

Ack, too much distracting things in that video to really get a feel from the song. I actually like the popmusic style for MF. My personal impressions of Kanno’s Macross Plus music was that it seemed somewhat derivative (save ‘Voices’–this song I love to this day) and wasn’t as successfully embedded in the overall story and presentation.

Based off this preview it’s my least fav of the vocal songs so far, I’ll rather this be the new ED than the OP even though I like Diamond Crevesse way more than Triangler.. this seems like it would make a lackluster op…

I don’t really have anything against pop, just make it catchy and I’ll be sold on it. This one, even after a few listens, doesn’t connect with me. I’ll wait for the full HQ version to decide.

Yeah nothing wrong with good pop, off this trailer though it’s not what I’ll consider good..
