Macross F Movie Slated for November 21, 2009 - CONFIRMED
UPDATE: Macross Ace has confirmed that the show date is officially November 21 this year. According to ANN, a trailer will appear on June 27, so that’s something to look forward to! Check Asagawo’s blog for more pics of Macross Ace.
The trolling has started, I guess. “The lead character in the movie is Klan. What will Sheryl do? What will happen to Ranka?”
The title of the movie roughly translates to “Macross F Movie Version, The Fabricated Songstress”. The actual kanji for the title is quite tricky to translate, as it is “虚空歌姫”, which can be read as, “The Empty Space Songstress”, or “The False Sky Songstress”, but the furigana above it reads “The Fabricated Songstress”. But for consistency, instead of translating, let’s just use “Itsuwari no Utahime” in this site.
I also heard unverified rumors that most of Sheryl’s concert will be new, and about 70% of the animation is redone. Well if it’s taking this much time, it must be good!

ANN post in the news that a trailer will be released next june 27 in japanese theaters and they called the movie “Utsuwari no Utahime”, The False Songstress.

Thanks Saouri! Hmmm, I think for the sake of consistency, I will just say “Utsuwari no Utahime” in the romanization of the title in this site, instead of translating it. Ah, can’t wait for the trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At last some new info about this movie. To bad that it was pushed back to November but still it’s good that it will be released in this year. I can’t wait for new Sheryl songs, I also hope that there will be CD with music from this movie ^^

Macross World has news up that there will be two MF movies, this one will be the first followed up with the second next year. The whole of that Sheryl-bondage picture is up to. The quote down the side sounds a lot like Sheryl “There’s no way a song can save the galaxy” ^^V
