Upcoming Magazine Features (Continue, Music Magazine)
These are major publications for Kanno that are soon coming up, and most likely are for the concert publicity, but they seem to extend to more than that. I won’t be purchasing these magazines, and since they’re not as popular as Newtype or Animage, then we probably won’t chance upon a scan of these. It’s nice to know that they’re publishing a lot of material about her recently though.
Magazine Name: Continue Magazine
Date of Sale: June 16, 2009
Details: Kanno is the second feature of this magazine, the primary feature being Evangelion. It has articles about Yoko Kanno’s work and has a long interview. A special conversation between her and Seikan Hikou lyricist Takashi Matsumoto, and another one by Shinichirou Watanabe, is published. Megumi Nakajima and May’n have an article entitled “Ms. Kanno and I”. It also contains a discography of her anime, CM, movie, game and other works.

Details: Yoko Kanno is on the front cover, and has a very huge feature about her. They will cover all of her works starting from soundtracks and CMs, etc.

I just love Yoko Kanno in the mag cover, with the manga style.
I’m wondering what will happens if some day a fictional Yoko meets Nodame in Nodame Cantabile.
