I think there will be… Let’s see, for now there are only 4 episodes out, and already Triangler, Don’t be late, What ’bout my star, Diamond Crevasse, Kanno’s Ai wo oboeteimasuka, Aimo, SMS Platoon song and Nyan nyan CM song. So there were 8 songs in 4 episodes.
There are still 22 episodes left, aren’t they ?
Mathematically, this means that there will be 44 songs… Haha, well, there is still hope for an OST 2, I think there will be another 10 songs

Looks like we’ve got a few more singles or stuff for OST 2. Given how long the GITS:SAC OST’s ran on for (4 of them, plus a single-track collection, plus various singles)…

Holy spoilers, did you guys see the fifth episode? The song is “What ’bout my Star @Formo” in the credits. We’re getting the Ranka version of What ’bout my Star in OST 1, not Sheryl’s!!!!!!!

I loved the fifth episode, though not initially a big Sheryl fan, I like her more because of this episode. Its good to be getting both versions of “What ’bout my star”, Ranka’s was pretty good, one of the highlights of the episode together with phones on vibrate mode.

Also for people thinking this will be the only OST.. can you look at how many OST releases there was for Macross Plus a 4 episode OVA series… do you think a 25 episode tv series will have only 1 while that has.. what 3-4?

Definitely going to be 2-3 osts at least for this.. after 5 episodes I can confirm 8 of the 24 songs on here. In addition to those 8… track #2 should be used in episode 6. I’m pretty sure Alto’s Theme is the bgm used after the intro for episode 1 and 2 (started at different parts of the song). Track #1 is probably the theme used before the intro the last 3 episodes.

Alto’s Theme - I was thinking it’s that bgm that played when he first launched using his training gear on the school grounds. But come to think of it, that guitar music playing when the group was practicing Isamu’s move does fit Alto too.
As for the one you think is Track 1, is that the same track when Sheryl first laid her eyes on the Frontier fleet in the Deculture edition? It does sound pretty obvious that the track named Frontier 2059 be used when the fleet is being introduced.
One of my favorite tracks, the fast violins one that plays when the enemy attacks, I suppose should be “Vital Force”, or “Zero Hour”. But that’s a wild guess
It will take one month before we get our hands on the OST. *sigh*

For Alto’s theme it could be that one but it’s also played for the next episode preview music so I’m thinking it’s not. I just want to know what the track is that appears to be Ozma/SMS theme, the one is awesome.

When I saw Aimo (Bird Man) one word came ot mind… FUCK. Anyway most disappointed absent is the Ranka version of Ai Oboete Imasuka. While the original is one of my fav anime songs period I loved this Kanno arranged version as well.

That one track played when Alto takes Sheryl to the observatory on their date in episode 5… the one with the soft percussive piano chords… is quite nice. Possibly Kirakira (キラキラ)?

I think they spell Infinity as “Infiniti”

@SnooSnoo - You could spell it that way, which is a direct Romanization of the Japanese text, but if I’d do that then I’d have to spell Diamond Crevasse as “Daiamondo Kurebasu” just to be consistent.
Or is there an official publication wherein it’s Romanized as “Infiniti”? I’ll go for it as long as it’s official. The CD jacket spells it in Japanese text.
