Kaze ni Mai Agaru Vinyl Sheet PV

The PV of the NHK drama series “Kaze ni Mai Agaru Vinyl Sheet” has a snippet of the theme song “i say yes”. It looks like a drama between a Japanese girl and a UNHCR volunteer. The theme song is a slow jazzy piece with Akira Fuse crooning for the vocals. From online samples that I have heard from this guy, his voice is very good. I’m looking forward to hearing a high quality version.

The song seems good. I have to say that after the divine Thanks Day Platinum CM I’m really interested in Yoko Kanno next works. I think I’ll watch this drama

I previously have hunted down Camouflage and was surprised to hear “Share” (in CMYoko2) used in that drama. It’s a bit sad that her drama CDs don’t usually get published, but then again from my experience, her drama works are not very strong or intricate apart from the theme songs. Perhaps it’s because they don’t want the music to “steal” the scene, I dunno.
