It seems almost like a nod to Kanno herself, with this 'eyecatch' in Episode 1. Plus, you'll notice it playing in the background in Episode 4 at Nyan Nyan - but without the sound. We all know that Kanno started out as (and is still) a CM song writer, and she has perhaps as much CDs as CMs. Isn't this insert song VERY appropriate for her to do?
