Plenus Hotto Motto CM

Forget how goofy that company and product is named, you have to listen to this song. It should be included in a CM Yoko CD 2. Listen to it in Grand Funk. Beautiful, beautiful.

EDIT: I downloaded the song, but it says the composer is Ethan Blanchard. I wonder what Kanno’s involvement is then?

Yeah, it’s about a convenience store I think, and they have bento XD I downloaded it using the procedure that someone from YKDB told me, direct from the Grand Funk website.

She has arranged the music, and plays the song’s piano. For the first point, I can tell ^^

Grand Funk is giving us a hard time determining what her involvement is! It just says, “music: Yoko Kanno”.

FYI, I just got an e-mail from CD Japan that the CM Yoko cd has been delayed a week to 5/02. I originally had this cd in the same order as my copy of Triangler, but now I’m really glad I moved it to another order.

Hotto Motto is a bento (Japanese box lunch) chain. Plenus, the company, was a franchise owner for another chain called Hokka Hokka Tei (hokka hokka is an onomotopoetic for hot in Japanese; I don’t know what Hotto Motto means), but they fell out with the parent company, announced they were converting their stores to their own name, got sued, won, and Bob’s your uncle.
