Sousei no Aquarion Receives Silver Award in 2009 JASRAC Awards

The JASRAC (Japan Music Copyright Association) Awards for the year 2009 was announced yesterday, May 20, 2009. The award is determined based on the amount of distribution of royalties to the owners concerned, and is given to honor the work’s achievements.
This year is the 27th JASRAC awards, covering a whole year’s length from April 2008-March 2009. The song “Soba ni Iru ne” with lyrics and composition by SoulJa won the Gold award.
