Macross F OP: Triangler 30 second CM

A 30-second CM of Macross F has been released, with Triangler in the background. Consequently, we get to hear more of the song :)

Not too many Macross fans have been receptive of this intro song, but it sure has grown on me! I think it fits the animation well. Any thoughts?

I love it ! I know this song will reach my expectations of the Maaya + Yoko return !

Maaya’s voice is reaching really high notes in this one, isn’t it? :)

  4. Yyrkoon Says:

Yeah it reminds me an interview of Maaya where she was asked why she stopped working with Yoko and she answered that what she had to sing was veryy hard. I think this song is one of the hardest to sing Maaya sings ^^

What Macross fans are these?! I’ll pop ‘em one!!

@Yyrkoon – haha, Maaya said that? She’s so cute :D

@summerchime – LOLZ :D I found the video from a prominent Macross Forum, and until now, no one has voiced anything positive about it. Most are lukewarm in receiving it, saying that perhaps an animation that goes along with it would probably make it better.

I think it’s because Maaya’s voice is unusually high-pitched; sort of a different direction from her latest works. I for one am amazed that she’s still able to pull those notes off.

Also, we’re yet to hear the rest of the song (aside from the chorus), so it’s early to pass judgement on it.

*nods nods* Kanno’s songs are hard to sing. But Maaya always pull it off incredibly, so I was really sad when she stopped collaborating with Kanno. Well, hopefully this new song will start off a new strings of songs… :D What, one can hope, can’t one? :3

As for the song itself… I’ve yet to listen to a full version so I won’t pass any hasty judgment just yet. But yeahhh she sounds different. Can’t wait for the full single~
