Macross F OP: Triangler Song Sampler
Here’s a very short sample of the Macross F OP, entitled “Triangler”, sang by Maaya Sakamoto. We only get 15 seconds of it since it was ripped from a very short CM, and I would assume based on previous Kanno songs, that it is the intro of the song. I can hear some synth placed over Maaya’s voice, but 15 seconds is not enough to judge the whole song. We do get to hear part of the lyrics, which is to a bit of my disappointment, not gibberish. But at least it’s not Engrish. Or maybe there’s going to be some gibberish somewhere in the middle…

Maaya usually sings pretty good english though, imo. Remember Gravity? (or many of her other songs)

Well yes, Maaya’s accent is pretty good, but at that “Engrish” comment I made, I was referring to Gabriela’s lyrics, not Maaya and her singing.

Not sure I’m really blown away by this 15-sec clip… I know this is too quick a judgment, but it just doesn’t have the same feeling as MS+YK’s previous collaborations. I’m probably just too picky though.

Neither was I, but I suppose I’ll hold off any judgment until I hear the full, final version. Aside from that, it could be a demo, just like when we all first heard Don’t Be Late.
