May Nakabayashi, Sheryl’s Singing Voice?
May Nakabayashi also known May’n, is said to have provided Sheryl Nome’s singing voice. This piece of news is not yet finalized as I have yet to see an official Macross publication that credits her for the vocals. Even her official website doesn’t have any news about her involvement in this recording, but then again, it’s not been updated in a while.
You may listen to samples of her voice at listen.jp. At first listen to those samples, it seems to me that May Nakabayashi has a timbre better than that which we have heard on Don’t be Late, which is rather thin and throaty.

Sorry, this is a very, very old post (Feb 19 2008 if you can see), please take the newer posts as a reference. We already know that May’n sang all of Sheryl Nome’s songs.
