Sheryl Nome: The New Macross Idol
The video below has the final cut of “Don’t Be Late”, which is very much different in the rhythms section to the one that we hear in the Macross CM.
Spoilers, don’t continue if you haven’t watched yet.
It’s too early to judge her character so early in the series, but I beg to differ that she’s such a b!tch. She refuses to cancel an interview even when she’s tired, and that’s an evidence of diligence. And she didn’t even look like she wanted to leave the stage when she was asked to evacuate. The reason she thought that Alto was rash was because Alto barely knew the situation and already called her inconsiderate to her fans. We’ll see if she is really kind after a few episodes.
(Oh, don’t let your imagination run wild, she’s just wearing a holographic full body suit. That tube is not going to fall off.)

I totally have to disagree with that one. She has her bitchy moments, but she grows a lot as a character, and I have my doubts she intends to be a bitch. She’s bold and a bit brash, and perhaps has a hair of a short temper. She takes her job seriously and she’s no pushover. She certainly never made half-assed political take-overs or got her newbies killed on their first mission. In Gavil’s defense, I think we’re MEANT to hate him.
