The vocals to this song are provided by Tomoko Kanda and the Yukawa Shione Group. It’s been a while since Kanno has written an CM song of this caliber. But then again, I suppose it’s only because it’s been a while since she was asked to do something ethereal. It evokes that Arjuna + Macross Plus feel and it’s beautiful. @fugue – that’s a bit old though, and the recent ones aren’t really much musically. She hasn’t written any music like this recently, and I’m surprised to see it come from a CM!

@fugue – you know I first heard that song when I learned how to navigate the grandfunk website, and during that time the layout was not Flash yet! At that time I thought it would be nice if they released it in HQ, and I was sooooo happy when they did so in CMYoko(1)!!! Now for the Japan Railways one…
