A new CM has come up, and we get to hear singing idol “Sheryl” speak a few words, “Atashi no uta o kike (Listen to my song)!”. It sounds to me like she is the one singing the song in the CM. Megumi Nakajima, who was auditioned to provide the vocals for the lead heroine role, got the role for Ranka, not Sheryl, so I’m guessing that the song being played is not hers.

The song in the CM also sounds better in quality. That, or it is a new mix, because the the rhythm definitely is more striking on this one. Watch the new CM here:
