So, Sousei no Aquarion is Quite Popular isn’t it?
If you’re following the Kanno or AKINO communities, you’d probably know by now that the song Sousei no Aquarion tops internet downloads, online polls, and has a new version by the anime’s voice actors to be released next month. It might as well be Kanno’s most popular song, at least in Japan. While I was searching YouTube videos, there was a fan that parodied the “Jesus Christ Musical” comedy and used Sousei no Aquarion as the background music. And yes, the poster is from Japan. The editing is pretty funny
Please don’t view the video if you get offended with religious jokes.

@ Inuhayou - yes the animation is very popular (to my surprise), but this blog is primarily for Kanno’s work and some (nutty) asides about her work.

Heh, I watched the original with “I will survive” about a year ago and laughed for about five minutes non-stop. Too bad there isn’t a lot of material to edit with “Sousei no Aquarion” and lots of scenes were repeated, but the effect is quite funny.

I’ve also watched the original verion some time ago and I’ve forgotten how it ended, so being reminded at the “aishiteru” part was quite funny for me. I think I gagged most when the lyrics “hane” fit in with what the actor was doing - arms wide apart and fingers flapping. LOL!!!
