A Fan’s Profile: Goliath sings Ragnarok 2
It would be hard pressed not to notice the global community that Gabriela’s fans reside in. Sometimes, her works might even inspire the creation of song covers, original music and art. This post would be the first in a series of posts that would showcase the community’s diversity and talent.
To begin, we have a singer-songwriter whose internet id is very misleading because she is a girl: Goliath! She narrates that her primary motivation for learning how to sing is a Yoko Kanno song, “Sora” to be particular. She adds,
So I love to sing gabby songs, because they are special and in fantasy languages! I started with classical singing lessons and Pop Vocal stuff… so I got a little bit of a technic also.
When I first heard a sample of her voice, I thought she had been singing as a hobby since she was a kid. Goliath has a nice timbre and a clear voice, I just assumed that some people are born singers

This is not officially a Gabriela lyric/song since the Ragnarok Online 2 OST is not yet in print, but I guess we could assume, since it’s not a real language. You could listen to the official recording in the Ragnarok Online 2 Official Site.

@Ed – plugin… first you should have a Flash player, but if that doesn’t work, I don’t know anymore

@Goliath – I feel so tired from work, I haven’t contacted him yet :’( I think I’ll put up the Omna Magni fan video with a fox for the next fan work. But the next post I plan is the Ragnarok Samples part 2. Probably tomorrow.

you have an amazing voice. How old were you, taken this record?
To increase your abilities try to sing each tone change without raising your voice up- or down. Hit the tone immediately and it’ll sound even better.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I usually do that (or I try at least XD). But I recorded this at home with my webcam, so I was happy that “something” came out
Oh, and it was when the songs appeard online… so one year ago or so?? So I was 21 ^_~
