It’s Open Season! Ragnarok and CMYoko Lyrics Wanted!
BUMP 2!
Update: The lyrics page has been updated to include Poem by Virgilius Sade. Five more submissions and this list is finished

Time to get those ears listening and fingers typing, it’s the long waited open season for Ragnarok and CMYoko lyrics submissions!
The following list contains songs that are not credited to Robin, but are indirectly credited to her. One, the Ragnarok OST does not clearly define who sang what in the CD, not even Ilaria Graziano’s songs, so all gibberish songs, I assume are hers. I made an exception to “Everland” because I don’t know who wrote the lyrics to that one, but let’s just work on it anyway. For the CMYoko release, well, I’m assuming that Robin is singing because it’s credited to Samply Red and there’s only one female in that group. Guess who.
NOTE: To submit an entry, please check first if there is already someone who has sent an entry by checking the comments section. If available, please post a comment here with which one you are working on, then send your contribution via email to mike underscore s underscore 6 at yahoo dot com. As I update the site, I will strike out the ones that already have submissions.

Which ones are you doing? I’d like to prioritize the gibberish lyrics first (if indicated), so if you have any creative ideas for making them fit English words, let’s hold that off for the moment if that’s fine with you

I’ve got the lyrics for “Mama Shinhatsubai”

Want to add two changes to walk Travel Along…
The line you have reads:
Wants a friend so he calls Two
The line should read:
Wants a friend so he called Two
The line you have reads:
Nine and Ten spare each other’s feet
The line should read:
Nine and Ten smell each other’s feet
I really like this song. So simple, but such a good arrangement.

Kevin, I agree with the first one, but I have some doubts for the second. I could hear a ‘p’, and what I hear is like “spell”, which doesn’t make sense. I guess Pulse thought the “L” could be “R”, therefore “spare”. If the vocalist *ahem* made a pronounciation mistake and her “M” sounded too plosive, then you’re right.
…but! Since the overall theme of the song is childish and is actually in correct grammar, I’d choose smell over spare/spell.
I’ll edit the entry to make it a shared transcription

Mai,
This is what it sounds like to me…
Did I ever tell you
How did duly I was loved
Before the “l” in duly, there is a hard sound…
It may also be “how truly I was loved”…but it is not pronounced well at all.
I am not saying I am correct–this one is tough.

Melty Kiss:
Touch my lips
with a melty kiss
in the misty snow
your eyes look at me
free with all so I can feel
forever fill my heart with love
I am not 100% on the word “free” in “free with all so I can feel,” but cannot figure out another possibility.
October 1st, 2007 at 11:30 am
Ah! Given that “how truly I was loved” phrasing, I think it’s
“How dearly I was loved”
…? I think that’s it, she’s just having problems with the “R”.

Mai,
You figured it out! How dearly I was loved…nice.

Hmm, how about the last line in “Melty Kiss”?
“Love will fill my heart with light”
I also couldn’t get any alternatives to the word “free”…
