Well, while we’re waiting for the movie next year, I’d like to share some of my favorite instrumental covers of Macross F songs over the internet. Feel free to share yours in the comments

Northern Cross drum cover

This person deserves a special mention because he’s my friend!!! (hi Chris) Drum covers are pretty rare, I was glad he did a cover for my favorite song in this series He also made a cover for the Nyan Nyan Service Medley.
Seikan Hikou piano cover

As a lot of people commented, this performance is notable because it successfully caught the original perky tone of the song.

Is there going to be list of favorite covers without this guy? He not only makes great violin accompaniments, he’s also pretty funny. Remember the Lion one?

I’ll reserve that for something, I’m waiting for this cosplay group to post their SMS song video online, and I’ll probably put that up with that one. Or maybe I’ll put that up with the other crazy fan covers thing
