  1. Westlo Says:

Nice to see May’n stick with Kanno XD

  2. Westlo Says:

I thought it was mentioned somewhere that Lion was originally going to be a solo Sheryl/May’n song so I’m guessing this is the version we are getting.

Interested in hearing the new stuff on here as well with no Frontier involvement.

  3. roxfan Says:

That’s Satori Shiraishi, not Satoshi. The notice also mentions there will be lyrics by May’n. And it seems signed posters will be drawn by lottery but I’m not sure if you’ll need to mail in your ticket or they’ll announce lucky numbers.

  4. Naddie Says:

Well I’m curious as how to this will sound like… I’m hoping for other YK songs aside from Lion, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on this nonetheless.

  5. Light Yagami Says:

Oh! May’n Mini Album!! This is great!
I’m curious as how this LION version will sound, too.

  6. Kai Says:

Sounds a bit like AKINO’s ‘Lost in Time’ album. But at least it looks like there will be non Mac F related songs. I wouldn’t say no to another version of DC though. With ‘Kazeyomi’ and ‘Mayn Street’ both out in Jan its going to be a great start to the year.

  7. mai Says:

@Westlo – Glad to hear you still visit here :)

@roxfan – thanks for the corrections. I can’t believe I typed the name wrong after being able to find the website of the person in the correct Romanized spelling, perhaps because it’s the first time I’m hearing the name “Satori”. Oh, and I left a note in YKDB :)

@Naddie – Perhaps I’ll decide to buy the CD if there’s a song that is in the vein of Diamond Crevasse, but of course not another version of it. Given she’s a mainstream pop star, I don’t think I’ll like the songs on her album, but I’ll give it a chance :)

@Light – Hi, I think this is pretty great, one for May’n to release a new CD that’s got her own composed/written songs on it, two because she has something new out of the anime world again, and that’s always great for keeping the non-anime fanbase alive :D

@Kai – At least this time we have songs by other composers, and May’n’s album wouldn’t be just a compilation of Kanno’s works by her current most-used young artist :D

  8. jason Says:

“Same questions from Maaya’s album arise: ”

    You meant “May’n” there, right? ^^;

  9. jason Says:

Oops, nevermind… I misread the sentence. I must still be half-asleep this morning.

  10. mai Says:

    @jason – Hello! :D

@all – The CDJapan translation says “MAIN STREET”, but it doesn’t have the star, and they’ve been known to make mistakes in their translations… Anyone has thoughts about the title? Also, if there is any other Japanese site that could have it in a Romanized title, please post here.

…I wonder if Megumi is working on her own release too? :D

  11. Naddie Says:

@mai: I hope so! :D I really like her voice – it’s still unpolished but with more time she should be awesome. Like even more awesome than now.

  12. fugue Says:

“Main Street” would make it sound like a Disneyland attraction ;) i wonder if she’ll perform any tracks from this album at the Anime Festival in Singapore this weekend.

  13. mai Says:

    Are you going?!

  14. fugue Says:

    yes :D

  15. mai Says:

It’s flanked by Kanno tracks, hope it delivers :)

  16. mai Says:

What’s better, is that May’n actually wrote some of the songs herself!

  17. raile Says:

I have faith in May’n. And with Kanno, I have every faith it won’t disappoint.

  18. mai Says:

@everyone: Cross posting on this same blog, some of the new Nakajima songs in good quality:

Tenshi ni Naritai (To be an Angel): http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/nm5533099

Pine, as in Pine Salad? :P To be an Angel as in Wanna be an Angel? I’m joking of course :P
