Macross F: Nyan Tama Debuts in Oricon Weekly Rankings at #2

Nyan Tama sold 86,450 copies in its first week, landing it on #2 in the Oricon weekly rankings. EXILE beat every other competition to the top spot as they sold nearly a million copies on their first week. In comparison to the other albums Macross F has put out, Nyan Tama beats Nyan Fro (OST1, 71633 copies sold) but falls short of Nyan Tra (OST 2, 102331 copies sold).
I wonder if they could have boosted the sales by announcing the movie release date, and giving us a sneak peak? It’s been a while since we’ve heard any news about the movie.

It’s from Animedia, it’s official. lol @ trap Alto still wearing Sheryl’s earring and Ranka looking like a kid of theirs in that official art.
Really surprised that this sold so much considering the amount of new stuff in it isn’t really much. One has to wonder how much those Bobby singles will sell lol…
